Wordling Trilogy

In a world where Word and Voice summon incredible power, Zane Ryan is searching for a way back home. Thankfully getting help from the locals isn’t hard, and they’re really nice — except for the ones trying to kill him.

Firefall

Zane Ryan had a good family: two parents who were still together; a brother who doubled as his best friend; and a sister he mostly liked – when she wasn’t in a mood. But a last minute move to Montana was about to test the Ryan family. And what should have been the start of a new life in a new town suddenly turns into a dangerous adventure no one could have predicted.

Enter Wordling. A land that has been at war for centuries. On one side are those of the Word, who fight in the name of the Great Heart. On the other, the Ruahk Lords; masters of the Ruahk Voice and underlings to Warcry. And unwittingly stuck in the middle is Zane. A quiet, book-loving junior higher who fits a few too many criteria for a prophesied hero…

Waterfall

One Fall down, two to go; Zane Ryan was almost halfway home. But with David missing, Aryl and Ayahel at each other’s throats, and Aunahbel being just plain weird, getting home is turning into the least of his worries. Meeting Jaedis and his gang of friendly pirate merchants brings a welcome change of pace, but when a strange note is found among the crew, the adventure goes from bizarre family cruise to a deadly case of mistaken identity.
